So I have my 5 lug swap done, and the front wheels are still a tad farther back than I thought they would be. My setup is:
Front
-E36 325 front spindles/brakes
-M roadster Struts
-M roadster lower arms (same P/N as M3 arms 96-up)
-E30 M3 offset CAB's
Rear
-Z3 hubs and rotors
-318Ti calipers
I have a friend who is parting out an E36 and Im gonna take the steering rack out of it, But also I was thinking of taking the E36 front subframe and trying it in my car to see if it helps with positioning the front tires further foward. I think the subframes fit into E30s but are the control arm balljoint positions any different on them?
If the position of the balljoint on the subframe was a little bit more inboard that would bring the axle centerline foward.
also whats the story with the treehouse racing CAB's? do they offer more offset than the E30 M3 bushings do?
