I just installed E36 M3 spindles on my car, I had 325 stuff on there and my wheel wasnt centered in the wheelwell, even with offset CABS and 96-up CA's. now it all looks centered, and although i havent put it up on the alignment machine yet i can tell by looking at it that i cured my problem... This info should be put out there more, I see alot of guys doing 5 lug swaps and not using ALL M3 parts, and also people claiming that there are no differences in the M3 and non-M spindles, besides the brake mounting points. this is wrong

I was wondering this. When I was looking at friend's m3 spindels, control arm balljoint hole seemed to be further out. Thought it was because of the size. I'll have to find m3 spindles then. Wonder if standard e36 brakes could mount on m3 spindles?

I should have taken measurements before and after, because a week after first putting the M3 spindles on, I am looking at the front tires and wondering if in fact they are centered.. they are close enough i guess and i should stop whining about it, the M3 spindle has gained me some camber without needing to shim with washers, and of course the big brakes are great..
And no you cant put 325 brakes on the m3 spindle, i dont think so at least, since there isnt any way to do it the other way around (m3 calipers on 325 spindles)
they can be had for cheap, I found my brakes on ebay, 285 bucks shipped for front spindles calipers rotors and rear rotors/calipers. not a bad deal and i sold the rears for 100 bucks to my friend for his e36, since they wont go on an e30
How far can you go as far as power and handling with a 4 lug over a 5 lug?
You can do the same on 4 lug, some might even say faster with smaller/lighter wheels vs 18s. 5 lug gives you more choices for wheels and rotors vs the 4x100.
