    are the E30 M3 and regular E30 subframes the same? i'm asking because i want to use the e30M subframe for my 5 lug swap and they are already reinforced. thanks

    Nearly. The exhaust hangers are different, but that is it.

      so the fronts are the same and i'll just have to relocate the exhaust hangers on the rear. Thanks.

        how are the ones you're putting on reinforced?

        Exhaust hanger on the rear subframe is a bolt on, and there's place for it on all e30 subframes.

          Now that I think about it, I believe he is talking about the front subframe. The front subframe ears can be reinforced to avoid breakage on aggressively driven cars.

            here are pics of the front reinforced. it's on the engine mount holes. i hope the holes will line up as i have a swapped car.

            i want to get my 5 lug done before winter :D. still need to clean and paint these. sway bar mounts are reinforced as well

              no idea, you're on your own there kid. Those welds are rough and holes look not very round. If you have any fitment issues, that reinforcement will be the issue.
