    E36 M3 brakes on E30 M3 strut housing?

I know you need a rotor spacer, unsure of dimension though, do the E36 carriers etc bolt straight up?

    I may have a line on a set of E30 M3 housings.....

Yup, e36 m3 brake calipers bolt right up to the e30 m3 strut tubes. All you need is the brake rotor spacer.

Brake rotor spacers should be 12.5mm, I understand. EBI used to make them... and apparently, the ones they made were not very good at all. They're not hard to replicate though.

They arent exactly 12.5mm. It all comes down to the grade of aluminum that is used. I stepped up the last batch I made to a 7075 from 6061 as a few points in the spacer are thin and prone to breaking down. Cost a bit more, but I think its worth it.

Uh, if they aren't exactly 12.5, what are they? :)

Looks like I'm going to get the housings here in a bit once I'm done with my swap.

At that point I'll either look into E36 M3 stuff with the rotor spacer, or see how big my tax return is next year and do Massive stuff all the way around.

I would have to go pull out the schematics I drew up for them, and dont really feel like it. I might be making another batch if there are interested parties.

I'll let you know in a few months if I've determined which route I'm going to go.
