Cheap 5 Stud Conversion? (E36 Based)

wanting to convert to 5 stud. there are a few E36's in local scrapyards but no compacts.

for the front can i use the full hub, brake, shock and control arm setup from an E36 with M3 offset control arm bushings?

as for the rear do i retain my trailing arms and bolt on E36 hubs/brakes?

    Currently E30-less

i have looked/searched but i get so many conflicting opinions.. i know E30 M3 is the right way but i want to know if using E36 front (non m) hubs/brakes/shocks/springs with offset control arm bushes will sit the wheels in the middle of the arches or very close to. also whats the deal with spring hats? will E36 work or do i re-use my E30 ones on the E36 shocks? can that even be done?

at the rear, again E30 M3, blah, blah, blah.. there are no E36 compacts in local yards so could i use E36 hubs/brakes with my E30's trailing arms/shocks/handbrake cables?

basically im wanting to know if there is a straight bolt in based solely around a non m E36 saloon.

          Currently E30-less

nah, Its just that most of us have converted to 5 lug. And its annoying having to explain it 12 times a week to a new newb each day.....

                My setup
                98 M3 spindles/control arms
                95TI rear trailing arms
                Offset CABs
                sigpic

E30 M3 costs a buttload tho. what do u guys do for front shocks/springs? i get the swapping of hubs, arms and all just a bit unclear on what works spring/shock wise up front that wont require cutting/welding.

say i find TI rear arms/hubs/etc and thats out of the way. what from a non m E36 can i use in the front? arms/hubs/brakes, anything else? that leaves me needing offst CAB's and ???? for shocks/springs.

basically looking to make a shopping list of parts so i can keep an eye out and hopefully go 5 lug.

i have 15 inch crossspokes but need 1 more to make a full set and they need rubber whereas my RGR's are a full set and all have brand new rubber so if i can convert to 5 for less than about £140 it would be cheaper to go that route plus having the bonus of being able to use the RGR's as i dont particularly want to sell them and they are ET15 with stretch which would look hawt.

                    Currently E30-less

honestly, since I've gotten my swap down, I've realized how overrated e30 m3 conversion is. e30 m3 brakes were small even in it's day, so by today's standards they're not that great at all. e36 m3 brakes to start with is definitely the way to go, and is cheaper.

Personally, I'd love to find another cheaper way for the swap, I still have a few ideas, just don't want to spend any money into this. My GF loves my wheels, and I'd like to swap her car, and get something different for me.

I'll be at the machine shop tomorrow and see what I can do, but this swap will be 100% studded. Maybe even get e30 m3 offset in the rear.
