e30M3 5 lug and msystems... what brakes?

Got my set of msystems and much to my dismay the profiles on Massive's site for the e30 M3 dont look like they will fit under the wheels. Am I stuck with standard e30 M3 brakes? what are my options? Massive have anything else that isnt on their site? 300mm.de? anything

Have you test fit them? and how much larger are they? you could try spacers if its just alittle off.

the wheels are 17x8et22 in the front. I plan on using a 10mm spacer but the massive kits will not fit under the wheels as far as i can tell.

Don't they have templates to print out for testing?

Massive does... and neither of the e30m3 kits fit by like 15mm. I was looking for other options

The 332mm kits are now available with two different calipers. The original SL6R (basically a thick race caliper) and the SL6R14, which is narrower by perhaps 1/4" and uses thinner pads. Each caliper comes with specific radial mounts See the difference below.

            SL6R and ARC-8 17" x 8" wheel - No spacer required. 8mm clearance

            SL6R14 and ARC-8 17" x 8" wheel - No spacer. Even more clearance.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

lee do you have a profile for that setup that I can try out? I was dead set to get a set of your brakes front and rear and was really disappointed when they didnt fit under the wheels

I don't yet have a profile for the slimmer 332mm kit. Please PM me your email address and I will forward you hat profile. I have already sold a few slim kits for people who were "wheel challenged"...

This week, I sold a front e36M3 and rear 318Ti kits to a guy who converted his e30 with e36 components and S52. He shall track his car this weekend and send me feedbacks. He is using Hawk HT10 pads for the track, and BP20 for the street.

                  Chris

I just sent you the profile for the e30 M3 SL6R-14 kit. Caliper is 10mm slimmer than the usual SL6R. I started offering this option only a few months ago. Hats and rotors are business as usual. Caliper is slimmer, uses a different radial mount and pads are slightly slimmer too. Most 13" and 14" kits sold by Wilwood use that slimmer caliper.

Here's a comparaison between both calipers.

ok well I got the slim kit profile form Lee. I cut out 2 sets. One with no spacer and one with the 10mm spacer that I plan on running. Well the non-spacer version wasnt even close. WIth the 10mm spacer we are close. At first I cut to the dotted line that Lee had on the profile that was necessary for above caliper clearance but it was hitting the inside of the rim at the top front corner. I trimmed off about 5mm from the clearance at that corner and this is what I got...

yeah thats a tight fit. I will let Lee chime in on this but I would guess they arent going to fit :(

I have a stack of 1.5mm spacers for "special cases". That should be enough to clear without drastically moving the wheel out.
