I've been way to busy to even deal with these. I've just been enjoying my E30 to the fullest.
I also would like to put some miles on them first. Have just over 2k on them with no issues.

I want to wait and see prices on these, but want to start snatching up e36 m3 suspension parts now......any idea or is it just "soon"?Leave a comment:

The good lord keeps it torqued for me.Just out of curiosity, What exactly is holding the hub onto the spindle on your setup? Friction alone? Thread lock? Usually there is a nut the bolts onto the spindle where you hammer a point into a channel on the spindle. Im not thread crapping but Id hate to see the hubs loosen up and cause some catastrophic failure.
Actually, There is a key on the backside of this cover that slips into the notch on the stub axle. Loctite as well.

I'll be finding another shop, but it will be a while. I have a million things going on this summer, and a vert to get ready for a show in a week.Leave a comment:

UPDATE (not what you wanted to hear):
The person who made these WILL NOT be doing any sort of business through me due to recent events having absolutely nothing to do with work performed for me.Leave a comment:

I doubt the tooling would be more, like wise the time.
All you need is a lathe & drilling centre for the stud holes.
If you have access to a CNC machine, it would shit them out for breakfast.
If you look at what you've made (not having a dig by any means), that is in no way an economical solution to mass produce, even small runs would be un-economical, how many "tools" did you need to setup/use....

Nor does that include the calipers, which would be purchased used, and a smart idea to rebuild them. Add the cost of 318ti trailing arms and you're up there in the price range of e30 m3 fronts for a 5-lug swap.
Like I said, Jim has a lot of projects going right now but it sounds like he's going to test the fitment of E39 brakes, as they may be able to be adapted plug-n-play, which would avoid machining the notches in the caliper brackets.Leave a comment:

$1300 is a little steep.
Especially for a setup that requires a hubcentric spacer for the rotor.Leave a comment:

Shit if I were to machine that it'd be expensive too, especially depending on how much the stock was and is made of depending on the grade.
But I'm still down to try and make something if I can get some spare parts.Leave a comment:
