I think I found my problem help and input needed?

I was having trouble alligning my 5lug swap that came from my old car on to my new car but I think I found the problem.

So as I understand it I can swap the hubs and bearing from this bent arm to any E30 rear arm no problem right? Help I am tring to get ready for Autocross.

then you need to find another 318ti trailing arm or a 84-85 325e trailing arm.

So the trailing arm on a 84-85 e car is the same size as this 318ti unit but the later ones are different. OK I will have to start searching. I have no Idea how this one met its end. How difficult is it to swap the hubs over?

the difference is in the bearing size. 84-85 325e and 318ti have small bearings.

its not hard, you have to slide-hammer the hub out, then get the old bearing race off the hub flange (either with the correct bearing race tool or just zip it off with an air hammer like i do), then press out the old bearing from your repl. arm and press in a new one.. but if you find a repl. TA in the junkyard from a Ti its gonna have a 5 lug flange anyway
