    The 16x8 et23 E38 weaves clear front m3 brakes?(E36 5-lug)

Been running non-m stuff upfront for the past 2 years, want m3 spindles/brakes now so I'm wheel hunting. Wanna pick up wheels this weekend and it's going to be between those if they clear and some M contours.

    Can anyone chime in?

    Thanks,

    D.

I believe you need a 5mm spacer up front.

Gah, can anyone confrim? I just got a line on some nice tires for em but I'd want to fit without any additional spacers and that jazz.

If so i'll be going with the contourz

3mm spacers needed if you want to run the brake clips.

i'm running 16x8 et23 style 4's (e38 ). I know it varies from wheel to wheel but mine JUST clears the calipers without issue. I really thought it was going to hit but it spun free on the hub without interferance.

just to pop in, daniel, thanks for all your help on tire sizing. went with 245/35r16 and they fit perfect. Rolling fenders slightly in rear but otherwise no issues

                  Sweet! good to know!

The funny thing is those style 5's were the first wheels I got when I went 5lug but the front rubbed like crazy up front due to me installing what I thought were used 97+m3 arms but they were from a 95 and incorrect tire sizing. There's a mint cheap set of em in my local classifieds at the moment and some 215/45/16 Falken RT-615s I may also scoop up if they'll fit with the m3 spindles.

                  Thanks for clearing that out!
