E36 sway bars with E36 5 lug

I havent looked at the differences between bars, but would it be possible to run E36 m3 (or standard) sways on an E30 with a 5 lug conversion?

OK just so ya know
The E36 bar is infront of the subframe, e30 is behind.

Well I guess that would make a big difference. Just thought I'd ask, people have done some crazy things to e30s. Especially you.
