Using m3 front struts/hub yada yada

is this bolt on? Do you need control arms also?

    #2
Yes its bolt on. Use your stock control arms, struts, and springs/hats etc

You will need to have the car aligned after as the tierod boltup point on the e30 M3 hardware is quite a bit spaced out from the normal e30.

Do the e36 m3 calipers bolt up on the front e30 m3 setup?

The calipers are a direct bolt on yes. You have to use e36 M3 rotors with them, and to center the rotors in the caliper jaws you must use SBI's rotor spacers.

is there a difference between the m3 rotors and standard e36 rotors? If i were to go with 325is rotors and calipers would i still need to space it or are they smaller than the m's? Also which caliper brackets would i be using? e30 m3 or e36? or does it matter?

normal e36 325i rotor are small.

              e36 M3 are huge.

                  I don't know.

No one would ever fuck with normal e36 shit. Not worth the time.

used/rebuilt e36 M3 calipers are dirt cheap, and so are the new rotors.

                  Don't fucking halfass it!

im with ya, i can get the calipers for 45 bucks a pop through work! but i dont have the fundage for the 17s needed for clearance. Also i happen to have an e36 parts car with all new brakes (calipers et all). It would be temporary and still and improvement over stock. Besides, once i have the suspension componants in, its not like it will be hard to upgrade in the future.

did you not read it? he has all thats shit for FREE, as well as the fact that the rotors are already bigger then stock e30's.

Theres no fun in going all out the first time, cause then you go no where from there and end up getting bored with your car, aint that right jordo?

I still have plenty of upgrading to do.

When I get bored of these brakes I can install the e46 floating rotors, with 850CSi 4pot Brembos.

                            Wha? You didn't know?
