    e30 m3 FCA and e36 m3 FCA question

hey guys whats going on, i had a quick question ive been trying to figure out for a while. i know that you can use either an e30 m3 FCA or an e36 M3 FCA. now my question is whats the difference? in the front im using e36 m3 bilsteins, h&r sports, e30 IE camber plates, and thr lolipops. can i use either e30 m FCA or does it have to be e36 m? or it doesnt matter? thx

If FCA is front control arm, yes, you can use either. The difference is the angle which translates into castor differences. Late model e36 M3 control arms have a shallower angle increasing castor angle by pushing the wheel forward about 2cm.

E30 M3 control arms use the same geometry as standard E30 arms.

If you're doing an E36 based 5 lug you need E36 M3 arms.

I should add that you need 96+ E36 M3 arms. The 95 arms are different.
