Will Z3M rear crossmember fit e30?

I got a complete M Roadster rear end and am curious as to whether it will bolt in. I am planning to use everything from it for my 5 lug and s50 swap.

    Cheers,

    Blake

The subframe does not fit. You have to retain the E30 subframe and use the Z3M arms.

That's too bad... Sure would have been nice to be able to just bolt it in in one piece! Thank you for the insight.

So I pulled the crossmember from my car yesterday, and for shits and grins I thought I'd try and bolt up the Z3M crossmember/diff....

I looks like the only difference is the bushings are shorter, and an additional exhaust hanger...

Matt, how come you said it doesn't fit? Different P/N?

It is a different part number.

I was actually told it didn't fit by Jordan years ago. His info was usually spot on so I did not question it.

I am not trying to discredit anyone. When I asked I didn't have it in my possession yet. It would be cool to have just bolted it on assembled and go, but in all actuality I am going to do a camber/toe kit and box in the mounts. So this was just a "damn they look the same, will it fit?" kinda thing.

I wasn't really calling him out on it, I was just genuinely curious if he knew the difference between the two.

                      Carry on :)
