School me on 5 lug

Hi guys as the title states school me on 5 lug. Im at work about to get off break so i cant use the search function so dont flame please. Anyway the thing that made me wantto 5 lug is so i could run 16x10 rears with low offset. But thts only 1 aspect of 5 lug so please pros and cons of 5 lug i have a chance to source the parts for 6ish...

If the main reason is to run that size of wheel look for 4 lug and spacers. I got smoking deals on my setup but I still have over a grand in it......without wheels.
