    Z3M clarification questoin

    sorry for the newb question...

I understand the Z3M trailing-arms bolt right in, and that they use a larger but shallower wheel bearing, which changes the offset of wheels required ??? so, does this change the overall track width of the car?

I ask because I remember seeing someone post a photo of wheels sticking out, but no amount of searching and Googling has cleared this one up for me. perhaps that was with the original wheels (different offset?).

    thanks again.

The MZ3 arms are "wide" much like the non-M 6 cylinder Z3 but the MZ3 arms have a shallower hub so they are no wider in track than the 318ti arms or the E30 arms with Z3 hubs. Of course when doing any E36 based 5 lug swap you'll need to run higher offset E36/E46 fitment wheels unless you plan to do some serious tire stretching or fender work.
