Z4 rear hub

On my rears I'm using 318i trailing arms with 300mm De. Adapters, z4 3.0 rotors (294x19mm vented) e36 m3 calipers. The fronts are e36 m3 set up for now. I will be swapping Max e30 5 lug kit with 330i (325x25mm) rotors and 330i calipers.

I would like to see how the z4 hubs work out.

Pretty sure z4 will work, I've discussed with Tino (300mm.de) ... Just still wondering to lock the axle nut, lol.. Coz, z4 inner lip hub shape is plain... E30 hub have 3 slot
Why need to change front setup?
My friend in here used e46 330i both front an rear, and thats easy to make the adapter..
For front setup, he made customs rotor using hat.. On e30 non M strut
And rear rotor, just made steel insert for e brake and caliper bracket...

318i trailing arm? Is that disc brake or drum?
What hub do you used?

but we get alot of imported parts (many of us swap engines , I got M50NV)
the reason I m asking is I used to have drums in the rear , but i got my self complete rear 325 suspension along time ago
now I ve been considering 5 lugs , and I just bought a complete rear Z3 1.9
But I didnt like the thinner axles and the smaller bearings (as I m going Turbo within 2 months )
and the fact that I might have to use 40+ offset wheels

do you have any idea if I can use the rear discs from e46 330 ?

what trailing arms are you using ?

e30 323i trailing arm disc brake..
thats trailing arm same with 318is or 325
which type e30 do you have in Egypt? 325?

What are the spacers mentioned in both instances? For brake clearance/caliper mounting, right? 294x19 e46 328i rear rotor sounds good to me!

You mean front setup? I am not sure...
I think that for caliper clearance to wheels..
But, I'm not sure..

Just finished design and drawing for rear caliper bracket.
Use stock trailing arm and use e46 325i rear caliper + rotor
Need 12mm spacer for rear, to make it same offset with front.
Actually, rear will be around 3mm wider than front. (2.5+12)
Because I use 5 lug kit from Lithuania (max399)

using this kit, will be 12 mm wider each side
12mm thick rear spacers minimum thickness to make hubcentric, IMO

Now, I'm waiting parts from
Max399--> 5 lug kit front
Blunttech --> Z4 hub and e46 325i rear protection plate
Shop --> caliper bracket and 12mm ultra light wheel spacers

In my sketch (CAD) it is possible to use it..
combine with e46 325i rear caliper and rotor (294x19mm) or Z4 (294x19mm) / E90 320i (300x20mm) rotor.

I came across this article that mentions using the Z4 rear hub for a 5-lug setup. I don't remember anyone mentioning it before.

You will have to run it through a translator if you don't speak german.
