e36 Ultimo Coilovers w/ e30 GC Camber plates

Don't the Racelands come with their own upper spring hat? Just install the GC E30 plates over that.

Is it possible to use Raceland e36 coilovers with a e30 GC camber plates? I called raceland and they said the spring diameter is 89mm. IS that stock e36 96 m3 diameter?
