Z4 Hubs -- What brakes do you wanna run?

    Hey guys,

I'm working on a custom bracket setup that may go into a short production run so you can run Z4 hubs and some sort of 5x120 brake setup. Trying to gauge interest in which brake combo people would be most interested in though.

Currently popular options are Z4 hub+

    - E36M3 caliper, Z4 rotor (Personal favorite so far)
    - E36M3 caliper, E46 325 rotor
    - E36 m3 caliper and rotor
    - E46 325 caliper and rotor
    - E34 Caliper and E46 325 rotor
    - F30 rotor - (caliper???)

Some more mathing would have to be done based on caliper choice in terms of running a master cyl, but it could be done. For example, a e36m3 caliper would probably require an e28 master cyl.

What do you guys think of these options, or what would you add/change?

I have not fitted them yet but I have the neiseg kit and I was going to run the E30M rear Hubs but now may use the Z4 ones but am not sure if my brakes fit,

    E46 325i rear discs
    E39 Calipers

if the Z4 Hubs have a +2.5m more offsett than the M3's can I use them ????

    Thoughts....

To my knowledge you could use them, but you'd have to space the caliper over to match the rotor probably? 2.5mm isn't that much, probably could be done with some washers more or less haha

Match whatever you have on the front, so your balance stays correct

Saw that you made those, but I would like to run the e36M3 calipers so they match the fronts, yours are for the e46 calipers, correct?

If you only do the front and not the rear, the car will take longer to stop... ;-)
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

yes, currently used e46 325/328 rear caliper..
but those adapter also can use fir e46 330 which more bigger than e36m3
                  e36m3 rotor is 312x20 (40mm caliper piston)
                  330 rotor is 320x22 (42mm caliper piston)

To those running neiseg kit, shave 2.5mm from the rear caliper adapter and you can run z4 hubs with e39 rear calipers and 325i rotors.
Parking brake and abs working perfectly.
This is the setup I am running
