1995-ish E36 vert front struts work?

Front subframe is removed from an e36 vert in one of my local yards - curious if these will work for my 5 lug swap...

Also, is there a confirmed good way to center the wheel in the well?

AFAIK, any e36 strut will work but you need the 97+ M3 control arms.

      Reaaallly...

I'll bet I can score those cheap. Anything else other than the strut housings? Brakes work, right? Just new pads and rotors?

Then I can just buy new CA's..

kinda wrong, kinda true.... e36 and e36m3 use different spring diameters. if you use e36 struts, you need e36 springs and perch. e36m3 spring diameter is the same as the e30. you can reuse your springs. then you can use the e36m3 bearing cap (after modifying it) so you dont need camber / caster plates.

problem with e36 springs and struts is when you get to the bearing cap / perch. cheers, jason
