Wheel fitment after 5 lug swap

So I've been doing some research and everything I'm finding is on the stock 4 lug. Long story short, I'm getting a roll cage installed on my project, engine isn't in yet but the 5 lug swap is done and I need to just get wheels to move it. Not trying to cut my fenders myself (don't have any experience and I'm fairly certain I'll mess it up). End goal is to get some 19in rims on it after I deal with the fenders but before that I am just wondering what cheap wheels I can get to move it. From what I understand, 17x8.5 with 225/35 rubber all around should be fine on the 4 lugs, does that hold true for 5 lugs or am I just not informed enough? Thanks for the help

    More info is necessary.

Is your 5 lug at factory height? aka 4 wheel drive status?

You need to pay attention to offset as well.

We need more info before we can give you an answer.

I have a full e36 m3 hub assembly, control arms, and suspension swap all around. I'm not sure if it's at factory height but I can measure it out and check

You need higher offset wheels for e36 5 lug swap, offsets are generally 15-20mm higher than stock 4 lug or e30 m3 5 lug offsets (ET35-40). Looks at e36 m3 fitment wheels. There is a ton of info on this forum about wheel fitment with e36 5 lug stuff
