    Got a lead on M3 strut housings....

    I am going to offer on them tomorrow...

    What is a fair price for the following:

    Stock housings only:
    or

    Stock housings with hubs:
    or

    Stock Housings with hubs with Rotors:

        Well I called him back - he had priced out a few things he had laying around. M3 springs, housings, swaybar, brakes, and hubs. LOL. Before I heard the price I said to him "I only need hubs and strut housings." So he is calling me with a price. I guess he has a set of housings that he cut the spring perch off already...so that will be cool for the GC set-up.

            no, it is an upgrade over stock. make sure you get the swaybar links.

                Make sure you get the steering knuckles. They attach to the bottom of the strut tube with four bolts. The 4 lug strut housings have these permanently attached, but on the 5 lug housing, you have to bolt them on separately.

                  The guy is milking it - now he wants to put a bilstein coil over kit on it just to sell me the housings. :roll:

                    And thank god you do. That's the #1 benefit to the 5-lug setup... the only thing you can't do with 4 lug struts.

                        Front strut housings
                        Springs
                        Shocks
                        Brakes
                        Hubs
                        Calipers
                        Rear Swing arms

                        1700 + 100 shipping.

                        Thoughts?

                          i just got all of the above + halfshafts and sways for 1500, but i picked it all up. try to talk him down 100 or 200 from that price. HTH.
