    How Much $$$ ???

    Considering 5-lug swap so I can run DS2s...

    How much does the conversion cost? Other option is to look for a set of 16" Alpina turbine wheels.... I figured that the Alpinas and the 5-lug would be about even???

      Swap is about $1k. All depends on what you get for brakes and also how much you pay for your parts.

              It's posible to do a welfare 5 lug swap if you are willing to dumpster dive and go to pick a part salvage yards. And you'd have to use E36 parts. 318ti trailing arms and brakes, 96+ E36 M3 control arms, E36 M3 strut housings and E36 325i/328i front knuckles (they're a dime a dozen whereas M3 front knuckles are $$).
