Well, since "Mode" is being so hush-hush on his idea (I thought forums were made to SHARE ideas?) I am gonna share mine.

I was helping a buddy fix his bicycle the other day. His bottom bracket had really weird bearings, so we ended up going to a bearing supply company.

I threw the idea at the guy who owned the place of putting a E36 hub on an E30 spindle. He said that there are thousands of bearings available, and searchable in a database he has access to, so figure out what this fantasy bearing is (ID, OD, thickness, weight bearing, etc) and he can likely match it up.

So, I am gonna start off soon with an E30 hub and an E36 hub, measure both and see what needs to be seen and done to make a frankenhub.

                    Luke

So basically, Luke, is your going to find a larger OD bearing that work with an E36 hub.

                            Teasers are for fags.

Quit with the whole "Secret Agent Man" bullshit. You won't make any friends.

Friends are good. Haven't you seen the show?

If your ideas are not up to the scrutiny of this board, they likely are not good enough. If they are good enough, you might get useful suggestions..there is a fuckload of talent reading this.

If you get flack but are convinced you are right anyway, tell us to fuck off, do it and prove us wrong...
