    Using E30 M3 Struts.

let say if i do end up buyin the M3 front strut bodies, no bearings, or brakes, just bare strut bodies.
a part from rotors and hub bearings, can i use my e30 325i calipers?

and also if i go this route, will be able to fit e34 wheels under there?
    Specs are, 8.5X17 ET15(fronts) and 10X17 ET20(rear)

Ok, let me make it simple for you. If all you have are front M3 strut housings, nothing more, this is what you need:
E28 535i front calipers/carriers (they are slighty larger than the M3 and fit perfectly)
E28 535i wheel bearing (you won't be able to use ABS since the ABS ring on the 535i is a hell of a lot different than the M3 one, you would be better off trying to find someone selling bad bearings and using the ABS ring off of that)
Just use M3 rotors for everything.

I had no idea that e28 535i wheel bearing would work on a e30 m3 strut housing ??? interesting

^^^^The only difference is the ABS ring.

even with rolled rear fenders it will rub. i have e30 m3 full suspension on my 318is. I mounted BBS RS 17x8.5 with 235/40/17 tires and the front was fine but the rear rubbed on just the slightest amount of acceleration. it was not driveable. I was on H&R sports. I stick with stock m3 wheels now, 15x7et30 (I think) and they fill out the fenders nicely and give me more than ample traction with 225/50/15 tires. Plus, tires are cheap!
