    e36 AST Coilovers

Hey guys, i have a 95 M3 with AST Coilovers, and am wondering what rear shocks to use with them on my e30.

I am guessing the rear shocks off the M3 wont work, but i figured i would ask...

    Thanks!

    Are they the older 4100 's ?

You should be able to buy just the rear 4200 shocks from Vorshlag for a reasonable amount .
They will probably even take the E36 rear shocks as partial trade as they can rebuild them .

But there might also be the chance that they will work in your e30 , might be worth a trial fit .

That is what i was thinking,

      They are the 4100s.

I was just wondering, since i have C3Motorsport Kit on now, with ~2000 Miles on it, and didnt wanna run the konis on the back.

Ill try them, what would be the problem, they are too long or short?

And Teaguer thansk alot for the help on the last two threads!

I found out after talking to Vorshlag, Apparently the e36 springs are only 1" longer, and that i can run them, i just cannot go as low...

That is fine, i dont want to be slammed anymore, it was cool at the beginnning but gets annoying not being able to get im parking lots...

Plus i cannot get as low on the 17s needed to clear the brakes
