    5 Lug questions-please help

I'm a newbie to BM's, I have searched but couldn't find the answers i was after.
I see most recomend getting M3 struts, here in Australia they are rare, and very expensive if they ever do come up.
I have the oppertunity to get the rear set up from a 318Ti compact, and also the front struts.
    My Questions are

1-Is it ok to use the compact front strut/hub/brake assembly? Or are E36 coupe better (or are they the same part)

2-Are brake sizes the same for compacts and most of the range expect M3?

3-Rear driveshafts, do i need to get the compact shafts, or will my E30 driveshafts fit in the E36 rear hubs?

Sorry if these questions have been covered before, i did search.

    Thanks in advance

Yes it is OK to use the compact front end.
    Just don't forget you specifically need Offset CAB's & +96 M3 front CA's.

Brake diameter is the same, but, normal E36 318i's have solid front discs, ewww.
So you may want to check/change to the vented discs/calipers (all bolt-on).

E30 "axles" fit the Ti Trailing arms.
