    just bought 318ti stuff

there was a 318ti at the scrap yard today, so naturally i got the trailing arm assembly. i also got the solid part of the brake lines, cut them at the rubber. i also kept some of the ebrake cable, just used bolt cutters. also kept what i believe are the pad sensors? or abs wires? with extra long pigtails. basically, what is required to use them on my car? i think i remember reading that i can reuse my suspension. but how should i hook up the brakes, ebrake, sensors, and abs stuff? does the 318ti even have abs? thanks, im looking forward to using some 16x8 e38 weaves in the rear  hopefully the staggered look (4lug weaves in front) wont be too bad, guess i gotta decide if i want a 4 or 5 lug spare haha.

are you saying you have 4 lugs in the front and 5 lugs in the rear?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Why not be non ghetto and just do it all. If your gonna spend the time and energy just do it the right way... BTW if I remember right the e38 weaves will stick way out because of offset. They work great on the e30m3 5 lug setups, but that's because you keep the e30 offset. With the 318ti setup, your now going to have to have the e36 wheel or offset, which is around 40 rather than 20 for the e30's.

he has E30M3 parts in the back. you'll have to use e36 offset wheels.

Just put them on and have fun with your new 5-lug setup. use the E30 ebrake cable and everything else from the ti.

oh, i thought he had ti rear suspension... oh well. ~20 cm shouldnt be too much of a problem, i guess i'll just roll the rear fenders a bit and get some spacers for the front until i can afford full on 5 lug. thanks for the advice!

another reason i got the ti stuff is because the pads and rotors looked very good. my stuff is old and needs replacing anyways. i got the whole suspension for just over 100$ so i just couldnt resist lol
