    E36 ///M3 rear brakes?

I know the front stuff will work and I also know the trailing arms from the e36 wont work but my question is...

Is there a way to use the e36 ///M3 calipers and rotors etc with the ti rear trailing arms or the ///MZ3 / Z3 for that matter? I ask because I have a complete e36 ///M parts car. Thanks guys...

e36 M3 calipers/carriers will not fit the e30 trailing arms. What you can do is to use e30 M3 rear hubs, handbrake shoes, calipers/carriers and rotors, or 318Ti components. If you race, Massive has a rear 318Ti kit with 310mm x 32mm rotors and 4 pistons calipers that fit 318Ti hubs.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

i read somewhere (probably here) that the brake balance of e36 m3 front with 318ti rear is better than having e36 m3 brakes on all 4 corners.

        i am no expert though...

might i add that i have this setup^^^ and it seems to be very balanced. ive done a few panic stops just for fun and it hurts my brain to slow down that fast, so i wouldnt worry about trying to fit e36 m3 rear brakes.

318Ti solid rotors are much smaller than the vented e36 M3 units. I don't think a car will be more balanced with rear Ti vs e36 M3 rotors.

Another alternative would be rear M Coupe brakes. Basically they are the same size as e36 M3, but will fit the e30 trailing arms.

I plan on building adapters and making a bunch of extras and selling them for the 318 crew.

So 318ti trailing arm with E36 M3 Rear brakes.

              No workie.

Very different rotor offset and drum size for the handbrake.

So, Z3m calipers, carriers and rotors would fit e30 arms with maybe E30 M3 hub for the 5 lug while E36 M3 set-up for the front?
