Difference betwen these struts

What is the difference between these from Pelican V36-0370-M12 and these F4-V36-0370-H1. Also these say that they fit up to 6/92 so these won't work at all on a 93 correct? http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/cata...SUSshk_pg1.htm

'92 E36 models had different spring perches, etc. So that is why it's listed that way. Won't fit 93+
