holy shit, you just need to start READING. screw searching when its a topic like this one, when anything thats relevant to a 5-lug is in one sub-forum.
Dont you dare ask what parts to use and shame on anyone that provides assistance. Come back when you have some specific questions! -
hey thanks for being a dueche... that wasnt the point though the point was to make an easy read up of what can be used for new guys (like my self) i'm sorry i wasnt born in the 60's and didnt have money for a bmw like 5 years ago but now that i can afford something of my own i'd like to be able to just "read" something that was already posted so shove your opinion up your assComment

there is an easy read, it even has its own sub forum that you are posting in right now. if you fail to find the information you would have to be more than just a bmw dum dum, you would have to be a regular dum dumOriginally posted by FerdinandI carry a cheap pressure gauge in my glovebox with which to manually check my tire pressures, but I keep forgetting that in the USA glovebox space is sacred as it is reserved exclusively for the purpose of storing handguns.

my whole point of this was to cut down the question/answer whole thing and just have a pre written thing of what works and what doesnt so i apologize for wanting to have reference point for what works and what doesnt work... it just seems useless to have 20 new posts asking if this or that works instead there could be a prewritten thing that says here use this....
i guess all i wanted is to have the guys with vast amout of knowledge, share it with those of us who might not know something but it looks like this isnt the placeComment

Here:
Basically, I went to the 5-lug subforum, and clicked the Views column header to sort by number of thread views, descending. The idea is that the best and most detailed writeups have the most views.Comment

Each one of those is using e36 bits.
Thats the budget way to do it imho.
E30 m3 bits are the right way to do it.sigpicComment
