Tire Wear - Update - Aligned

While changing my oil today I noticed a pretty good amount of extra wear on the inside of both my front tires (a little more on the right than left). Then I checked the back pair and noticed the same trend but less. They were on the front for a shorter time than the ones that are now up front.

I had new OE Boge's shocks put on the front only about 3 years ago and new control arms/bushings about 2 years ago. Is this an alignment issue or something else??

    Thanks,

Perhaps extreme toe out in the front?

Are you running any form of lowering springs?

      You need an alignment. :!:

No, it's 100% stock. The previous set of tires I had on the car were actually 2 Bridgestone Eagers and 2 Goodyear Eagle GTs. Both wore in what I think is cupping. It was the strangest wear pattern I've ever seen. Basically every other piece of tread was worn. Anyway, when I described the wear pattern to a tech at a local BMW specialist he mentioned those 2 exact tires before I told him what was on the car. He said the (current) Dunlop A2 Sports would wear better, which they have, except for this inside wear I just noticed.

Alignment- I looked into to this about 4 years ago and a couple places said they couldn't because they needed special weights to put on the seats or something.? Is there any truth to that? Better to have this done at any euro/import alignment type shop, a BMW specialty shop, or the dealer? About how much?

        Thanks

Ok, so I had the alignment done this afternoon. Here's what is was:

          Left Toe: -.24 (range = .11 - .19)

          Right Toe: -.23 (range= .11 - .19)

          Total Toe: -.47 (range= .22 - .38 )

Caster was on, Camber was just .1 off.

My steering rack is also leaking...
