Just bought Ground Control coilovers... need some suggestions

    Me + intraweb + visa + eBay + paypal = financial problems.

Anyways, I just bought GC coilovers off eBay, impulse buy at its finest. Its 300/500 and brand new...

I am currently running Bilstein Sports, and I plan on keeping these shocks, and see how it goes. In the future I will probably by Konis though, but that time will come in the future when I find a good deal.

Anyways, aside from M3 CABs, my suspension is stock. What should I upgrade when I install the GCs?

    1. Rear shock mounts (which ones?)
    2. ?
    3. ?
    4........

      170,000km.
CABs are basically brand new. Other than that, all other bushings are stock :(

      edit:

Looking at the GC website, I'm very very tempted to buy GC Konis and GC RSMs. I searched around, and as far as RSMs go, GC's seem to have the best reputation... am i right? Is there anywhere I can get GC Konis and RSMs for cheaper than their website?

I just installed my GC rsms this past weekend, and they are badaxe. Very well made, and I love the fact that you tighten them from underneath. I am very happy with mine, the ride is excellent. Of course, anything is better than busted rsms. I ordered them from Bimmerworld.com for $100 shipped. The pics shown on GC's site are different from what I actually got, but this is them:

I have the same rsm as Rc wells, love them.

I have the Ground control front camber plates, which i have heard nothign but good stuff about.

              Ground control stuff = GOOD!

dammmit. Was just about to order some Konis and RSMs off GC website, but their Konis are out of stock.

                I want them now.

Anyone selling GC Konis? and/or RSMs?

Again, bimmerworld.com sells the GC rsms for $100 shipped, which is a bit less than from GC directly.

alright cool, I will buy from them.

As for Konis, i think I will just buy Koni Sport from PureMotorsport:

Another question here though. Shouldn't Koni Sports be the same for all model of E30s? It's more money for 318is, M3 etc, what is the difference?

                    I don't know whether I am suppose to pick the 318i 51mm housing for 24+dollars, or 318is for 38+dollars.

Not all SA Koni's are the same. I know GC had the top adjustable rears, which are a big benefit over the ones that you have to pull out to adjust.

trailing arm bushings, get offset ones so you can correct excessive rear camber after lowering.

swaybar links and bushings unless you're planing to upgrade them later on.

so do you want to sell your bilsteins? also correct me if i'm wrong but the gc coilovers for the bilsteins won't fit the other struts (ie koni, tokico, etc.)
