Powdercoated Calipers & 25mm Master Cylinder

Are now in full effect... er sorta.

I got my rebuild kits and the MC today in the mail.

I had the calipers all blasted and powdercoated a month or two ago.

Rebuilt them all today, swapped out the MC, and installed the 2 front calipers. Rear 2 will go in tomorrow.

No dumbass comments about the rusted rotors.. its just surface rust, and its not like I get to drive the car to remove it regularly.

    Eye Candy:

Those came out great Jordan. I like the look with the wheels. I'm glad you didn't do them any other color.

Looks great Jordan, just like your work always does.

I really like the painted blue "ATE" logo on the fluid reservoir.

(i still don't get why everyone suckers into the 25mm MC though)

How much did the local shop charge you to do those items Jordan?

On another note do you still want to do those valve covers with me? I have a whole bunch now. I am looking to get rid of them soon. It's to fund my projects.

$85 for the acctual powdercoating. Plus $50 for the sandblasting they needed... my calipers had heavy baked on, wouldnt come off brake dust. Obviously I didnt want to coat them over that.

Perhaps if you had caught me this summer, winter has now begun here, and i will not see another day it doesnt rain for at least 4 months. I have no means to refinish them indoors, I have to paint (and cure) in the sun for proper wrinkling.
