I just installed some hawk hp+ pads on the rear of my e30 and they are very loose has anyone ever had this problem with these pads? On the orig pads there was a clamp of some sort on the inside pad that inserted into the caliper cylinder is there a way to reinstall this clamp on the new pads?

Yeah, you need to use that clamp.. it keeps pressure on the pad and the caliper.. Reinstall them, take it for a drive, and then see how loose they are..
You can also write with magic marker on your rotors, take it for a drive, then see if that mark has worn away. If it has not, then you have a bigger problem on your hands..Recent Rebranding!!

the 2 caliper bolts? with the allen wrench hookup? ouch. You NEVER tighten stuff with air tools. always loosen with them.
