Exhaust leak

Cars leaking where the manifold meets the rest of the system.

What would be the best way to remedy this? Would I need most of an exhaust system or just that elbow?

If it is leaking at the joint, you can replace the gasket. If the manifold is cracked, you can just replace the manifold. If the downpipe is cracked, weld it.

Guess I gotta get it looked at then, or crawl undermyself.

Is this enough reason to get an I exhaust? hmmmm.


EDIT: There was a site that explained this exhaust swap (strictlyeta?) anyone have a link.

get under the car and look for soot stains on the pipe
that'll tell you exactly where it's leaking from small holes/cracks make big differences in noises
