control arm, steering arm and end type and quality and IE camber plate question.

I am in the process of installing I.E spec e30 adjustable camber plates. I am new to this on the e30. One plate will not slip over the strut rod the other did. I figure i will carefully remove some material from the sleeve on the camber plate unless someone has advice why not. The real problem I have is no instructions and no adjustability. they have 4 bolts to loosen for adjustability and they barely fit in the factory strut tower opening. Do I use just two adjustment bolts. I also seems to bind on the factory perch. How tight do the need to be on the strut tube?

I use harbor freight ball joint pivot removal tool on the control arm and steering rod ball joints. The ball joint came off but now the stud spins in the ball joint so I can not get them tight. My sway bar end links look worn so I figure to replace them all. I see new sets or arms with ball joint with prices ranging from $115.00 (Meyle) to 150.00 for a bunch of no names to Lemforder for 200.00. Is their a quality difference between Lemforder and the rest? I will be driving my car aggressively. I want rubber at these locations not poly. Just wondering if the extra money is spent well on Lemforder?

    any help is appreciated.

In future, if a ball joint spins when trying to tighten it, put a jack under it and apply slight upward force while tightening.

Thank you, I did do that to get those parts back on. I am waiting on the lemforder order. For anyone else interested in the I.E. spec e30 front camber plates what I found was the race shops who did install these use just 2 of the adjustment screws not 4.

Ireland Enginering and Ground Control do not offer instructions. I bought items from them. I bought IE serrated camber kit. They offered instructions on their page and pics. They didn’t mention I had grind down on serrated on corner ends to fit the subframe back up.
