    Subframe install question. Please help.

I haved searched with no result that I am happy with.
I am installing these solid bushings tonight:

Do I need to put the large metal washer back on top of these bushings when reinstalling the SF into the car? DO I leave it off since these are not stock bushings? Anyone that has done this, with good info will be a big help. Thanks in advance.

I went with the IE Urethane bushings and put the washer back on. Antisieze on the long rod as well. It looks like the solid ones don't need the washer.

I would compare the length of the stub that insets into the body and compare that to the depth of the counterbored area that it goes into, if they are the same length I wouldn't use a washer. But if the stub is longer than the counterbore is deep then I would use the washer to take up the gap so the subframe mount isn't supported by only the stub.

Fair warning, I am using the IE race bushings so I have no first hand experience with the solid aluminum ones. You can always call up BW or whoever you bought them from and ask.
