    Mounting diff.

I'm trying to mount my diff back onto the subframe. I can get all the top bolts in except for one. The hole just isn't lining up right. I've tried loosening all of them and wiggling it. I've tried tightening all of them and nothing.

    Any secrets?

Don't do that. It went in there once, it'll do it again!!
I spent a good half hour or so tryin to line mine up too. It'll go!
You're only asking for problems by not mounting it completely...

I was having the same problem with my spare diff. Turns out the hole I was having trouble with had screwed up threads. I had to counter bore the hole to get good threads for the bolt. You might want to see if you can get an inspection mirror and get some light on the subject.
Turns out the spare diff is bad as well. I'll be searching one out soon. Good luck.

I've been in this situation before!

I removed the diff, then cleaned up the threads. The threads accumulated a lot of gunk and rust, and after I chased them, the bolts went right in.

try to tighten the bolt rather then loosening it. Sounds dumb but it happens.
