    cnc hydro brake

im tring to get this all figured out before i make purchase but i came up with an idea....

what if i welded another caliper bracket with whole new caliper and straight connected the cnc staging brake or hand brake?

i mean only other way would be to tap into existing brake lines.

tapping into the existing brake lines works, so why would you want to do it any other way?

so no surging from the regular footbrake would happen, or any thing in the caliber get stuck during drift

Ive never had that issue with any hydro ebrake in a e30. If you brake system is in good working order i doubt you will have that issue.

Since when have you had a hydro ebrake in an e30?

Everyone running an in-line hydro ebrake always said that the brake pedal fade is an issue (and I can vouch for it since I have the CNC Staging brake)

If you can properly do an extra caliper that's independent just for ebrakes, then by all means. It'll be MUCH better. A lot of the pro drift cars do it, as well as high end manufacturers such as Porsche, Lamborghini and others.

Oh and by the way, if you are going to do a caliper just for ebrake, make sure to use a proper caliper with more than awesome brake pads, to actually make sure it locks. There's a local guy running an independent caliper on his CNC eBrake and although his setup works nicely, you can tell he needs to put some effort into pulling the lever. Much more so than what I have to do with my in-line staging brake on OE rotors and pads.
