    ABS pump has an airpocket

How do you activate it to blled the system fully? I read the factory manual and it describes using a factory tool which I doubt anyone would loan out.

I just had this issue too after I put my stainless lines in.

I bled the car on stands then took it out and did about four of five HARD brakes from 50mph or so to activate the ABS system each time.

I then rebled the brakes on stands and a bunch of old fluid and air came out of the front. I think you just need to activate the ABS system vigerously several times to push the air through.

Car is unregistered and I don't want to risk ahving no brakes and slapped plate on a car with no current exhaust except ebay long tube headers.

Was considering running the car up on jack stands and braking that way.

You couldn't get the front to turn on stands though.

No I can but I did the rears this way now and the pedal pressure has come up next will be running it down the road.

I just scared some 3 year old that was riding a bike when I started it up.

The starter is nasty sounding as it's mating the flywheel and makes a whiring sound as it beds in.

          I'll do that tonight.

Bleed the system as well as you can, then let it be for a day and bleed it again. The air comes out by itself quite nicely with time.

Of course driving & braking couple of times helps too.
