    Deleting ABS, need help

Hey guys i tried searching for answers to this question but came up unsuccessfully. How is everyone who has deleted the ABS Unit rerouting/capping lines off back to the brake booster?

Pictures and parts necessary would be most helpful!

    thanks!

+1, then go to a pull-it-yourself scrap yard and get the hard brake lines from a non-ABS e30. if you're hardcore, you'll remove all the wiring involved with ABS, but you'll have to disassemble a good portion of the chassis harness to do so...

My car is getting converted to a rarely driven weekend car/ show car

my engine bays getting shaved so i dont want that huge thing sitting there.

what years had the non Abs hardlines? i never even thought of that, it would be such a PITA to bend new lines.

edit: and as far as removing everything to do with abs, it really wont be a problem because of my cars current state

only form of suspension still on is the front struts but everything with the drivetrain is all out getting ready for e30m3 5lug awaiting prep work

very nice. i'm not 100% positive but i know some of the early m10's, and even some ETA's up to 86 did not have ABS. removing all of the ABS wiring really isnt that bad, just make sure to trace the wires and pay attention to what you're cutting with ETM's

If your master cylinder has the 3rd port under it thats block off you can connect a brake line there and skip getting another master...
As for brakes lines, like I said it is cake work.

you have 3 ports on the aster. connect the front left to one, the front right to another and the rear to another.
It is easier to make a new like for the driver front and the rear instead of pissing with it.
I will shoot you a IM here in a bit.

electronic troubleshooting manuals. they will list the color, location, and function of every wire in your car.

i recommend getting the master from a nonABS e30, so the lines will fit perfectly. you can use an ABS master, like white325is said, but the holes are in different places and might need more tweaking of the brake lines.
