    Oscillating Grinding Noise

Well my 1986 325e started making this noise about 2 weeks ago so I stopped driving it. Basically the noise is a grinding sound but doesn't sound like metal on metal. I hear the noise very clearly when I am coasting through a parking lot (clutch engaged). Probably 10mph or less. It will grind for maybe a quarter of second then nothing then grind then nothing. It seems like it is related to wheel speed. Makes me think a warped rotor...
Regardless Im doing an entire brake overhaul:
    Clean/powder coat/rebuild calipers
    new OEM Brembo rotors
    Hawk HPS pads all around
    SS lines
    new wear sensors
    new fluid
I just want to make sure I have everything it could be covered before I go replace everything and have it all back together and find its something else I could have done while I was in there.
    -Thanks

Drive the car and while the noise is present lightly apply the brakes. If the noise disappears, it is from the pads dragging on the rotors. If the noise doesn't disappear, you have to look elsewhere for the cause (bent backing plate, bad wheel beaing).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
