    Squeaky Noise.... really annoying...

Today I'm on my way to my friends house and i hear the noise again at around 10mph and gradually gets louder. Then when i come to a stop it will squeaky loudly once then stop when i apply enough pressure.... WTF!

I'm guessing it may be the rotor? Resurfacing might help.

So if the rotor isn't perfectly smoothed you think that might be the problem.

I doubt the cause would be the rotor. More likely candidates would be a sticking caliper, bent backing plate, or even a wheel bearing.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
