    rear brake backing plate?

Can someone tell me if the rear backing plate can be changed without pulling the hub off? My emergency brake ate itself and I need to put a new backing plate on, but don't want to pull off the hub. Thanks.

Nope. You must pull the hub. Just buy a used rear trailing arm if you don't want to go through the hassle.

you can actually, you need to cut a seperation line down the middle. alittle twisting, you can get it. peerless put the idea in my head and its not that hard, removing the old one was harder to me, removing the old rusted bolts with all that there, and pulling it peice, by broken peice. depends how rusted it is, the ease of the removal i guess. stay clean. goodluck
