    HHHOOOOOLLLLYYYYY FFFUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK

i almost creamed someone in a scion tc...

coming to my usual first stop sign, and its been raining. not thinking at all about my brakes being bad because in the last 3-4 days they seem to have firmed up a little bit.. i go to stop and nothing, Nothing, so i slammed my foot into the pedal and got a little bit, but still practically nothing, pulled the ebrake and started losing it bad, hahaha..
i finally stopped sideways a foot into the intersection.. talk about scary...

so i need to replace it bad. the Resevoir is way more full than last time, and the brakes feel like they need to be bled bad.. its nothing until the bottom of the pedal then its rock hard brakes and very little effect.

So does this stay consistent with the Master Cylinder? and anyone know somewhere to get one new and cheap?

You better get on that before you hurt someone else and/or yourself.

I bet your reservoir is leaking.

OP needs a new Master cylinder. Don't drive the car any more until you fix it! You're going to kill someone or yourself.

get your wheels off and inspect the pads, calipers, hoses. Try bleeding the brakes again and see if air comes out. If air does come out it could be something other then your master and inspect the system futher.

If you do replace the master cyl make sure to follow the bench bleed procedure that should come in the box. You will need some rubber hoses and fittings that fit into the master cyl to bench bleed.

I don't see why you tried to drive knowing you had brake issues...

Which is best place to get master cylinder? My masters going out.

O'rielly have those at $41.99 but cardone brand. I'm unsure about it. They have wagner too but have to call them for the price and order. Autozone have Fence at 80.99 with 42.00 core. I want brand but cheap. Any ideas?
