Try to get a metric tap, and run it through the hub. I had a hub that ate up wheel bolts, and it cleared that up perfectly. Blunt has good deals on parts. Expect to pay around $130 per front wheel bearing from most vendors. I put FAG bearings on mike, but NTN and Timken are also brands I would put on my car.'89 325i track sloot

Oh, rears are $30-$50 each, depending where you get them.

Also do u think my brakes can be causing this whining noise? I mean my brakes haven't been change in a while and I think there warped. I already bought rotors and pads but I plan to do everything all at once. Because my dad told me that if a wheel bearing is bad the wheel well shake once its lifted. I lifted the car this morning and the wheel doesnt shake. Also another problem I have with my E30 is when I brake very hard the front passenger clicks what do u guys think the problem is?

Take the caliper off the rotor and spin the wheel. If it's the wheel bearing, you'll still hear it. When you are in a turn, does the noise get louder? That's another indicator that one side has a bad wheel bearing.
Lots of things could make a click under hard braking. if all your balljoints are in good shape, first make sure your caliper bolts are tight, along with any suspension mounting bolts.'89 325i track sloot

I checked the suspension bolts, tie rods still look good,I thought that was the issue. And its just a constant humming noise. Corners the noise stays the same. It irrtates me that I dont know the exact problem and with my luck i'll probably spend the money on fixing the wrong part. I have no job so money is really hard to come by just last night I jacked up the car to fix my lip and found out my oil pan is leaking, I might have a leak in the radiator fluid. And today one of the lug studs were stripped.
