so i swaped a complete rear subframe from a '87iS to my '84 318. i used ABS caliper, but just cut the line for the connectors. got everything hooked up and tried to bleed the brakes....nothing out of the bleeders.
i decided to take it to a local tire shop to have them vaccum bleed them. i pick it up they tell me it is all set. i thought so to till i was on a wet road and my front tires locked up...no rear brakes.
i thought maybe the proprtioning valve need to be changed. so i swapped it out and tried to bleed the real calipers again....still nothing. well i checked where the had line meets the rubber line and there if fluid there, but none to the calpier on either side.
so my questions:
1) would the ABS sensor have anything to do with this?
2) Are plugged brake lines that common on these cars? (i have never had one on the 40 other cars i have owned)
3) Any other ideas on how to fix it? (no rear brakes in the snow, is not that much fun)
