    Rear Brake rotors

I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems removing the rear rotors.
I think they are just rusted on but I want see if anyone knows any tricks on getting these damn things off.

    thanks.

      Dude, I've been bashing.
They still don't want to come off.

um, I'm pretty sure I didn't think it was coming off.....it came up a little and I tried pulling and it seemed stuck. talked to some friends online and didn't think it was coming off.

fucking bashed it some more. came off. you need to get a bigger hammer.

BIG FUCKING HAMMER, just pound, pound all around the hub, then around the friction zone, then there's a hole in the dust shield on one side on the back, give it a pound through there and repeat. it works, make sure the set screw is out though.

Unless you parking brake shoes are realy shot and have worn a Grove into them, But Just bash, or try to adjust the parking brake shoes to bring them in closer to the center of the hub.

I used a airhammer to pull the rotors of my parts car, but it was sitting in a field for a while :o

I've used aerosol penetrating oil to brake 'em free. Just make sure you clean them well afterwards.

                        Screw that.
I used them as frisby's after I got them off.

Until I realized they were heavy as hell and would never catch lift.
