Hello folks

just changed the bushing on my diff lid

Took the lid and had it glasblasted.. made new bolts with stainless steel ballnuts and used loctite to glue it proberly before installing then took the metalplate wich holds the speed sensor in place and grinded and resprayed at last ,, the bushing is made out of polyetelyne
then new mobil vs 500 1,8 L ((2x1 L bottle)) new gasket seal ,, and rock on

the Diff is LSD 3.73

i had the LSD installed in 2005

I want to pull my diff and do something similar, maybe redo the bearings and clutch discs.

Im pretty sure he was talking about putting an LSD additive in will the diff oil. Unless stated on the bottle, most gear oil doesnt come with the LSD additive. You have to buy a separate bottle of additive.

I've got my entire rear suspension dropped out right now and was trying to decide how to make my diff cover all pretty too. Was considering silver aluminum paint. but I think I'll blast it and then use a clear sealer spray.

Did you use any sealer on the gasket?
