    HELP! ----- E-Brake cable stuck.

I'm doing a suspension redo this weekend - rear sf bushings, control arm bushings, shocks, springs, etc. The whole enchilada. Anyway, I can't get the ebrake cables out of the rear hubs. The cable is disconnected, but the sleeve seems permanently rusted into the hub.

Any tips or tricks on getting this out. It's been soaking all night with a rust penetrant and still no luck. All non-sarcastic advice welcomed. Thanks.

Big F'n Mallet, mini-sledge preferably, prybar between the hub face and the inside of the rotor when you start to make headway.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.
